Get ready to explore some of Scripture's most profound and poetic books! Our journey through the Ministry of the Word continues with The Writings Genre – Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon. These aren't just ancient texts; they're windows into the human experience, divine wisdom, and God's heart for His people.

But here's the exciting part: you get to choose how you want to experience this journey! We're launching two distinct Bible reading programs while still encouraging you to read at least 15 minutes a day!

CHOOSE YOUR PLAN

The Amazing Race

Get ready to put on your Hokas for the most epic summer reading journey ever! We're launching The Amazing Race through The Writings, and we need YOU to grab your favorite reading partner for this incredible 50-day race through Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon. Reading large portions of scripture can expand our understanding of God’s revelation to us in ways in-depth study may not. Here's the best part – you're still only committing to 15 minutes a day, but you and your teammate will be racing against other teams, tackling exciting checkpoint questions that will test your knowledge and spark amazing discussions along the way. Think of it as your favorite reality TV show meets Scripture study, complete with challenges, teamwork, and yes – actual prizes. So, who's it going to be? Your spouse? Best friend? Child-theologian? That person from small group who always has the most insightful comments? Choose your partner wisely, because together you're about to embark on a journey that will transform how you see God's Word while having an absolute blast doing it! (Card Download)

The Meditative Pace

You can keep your slippers or house shoes on for this one with a few different Bible Reading Plans, each designed to allow you 15 minutes to reflect on what you are reading for a more in-depth study of one of the following. Each week we will send out some checkpoint questions for you to engange with what you are reading:

  • JOB – Linger in the ashes with Job, wrestling with life’s deepest questions and discovering unshakable faith in the midst of unimaginable loss and unhelpful friends, because of our ultimate Sustainer. (Card Download
  • PSALMS – Feel your soul soar and break alongside the Psalmists as they pour out raw emotions, from desperate cries for help to explosive celebrations of praise – in worship of our compassionate, faithful, majestic, powerful… God. (Card Download
  • WISDOM AND A SONG – The rhythms of unhurried reading reveal that wisdom isn't just information to be consumed – it's transformation to be experienced. Whether it's a principle from Proverbs reshaping how you handle a difficult relationship, a return to that Ecclesiastes passage that profoundly impacted you at the Men's Retreat, or fresh affection stirred in your soul through Song of Solomon's celebration of love and beauty, these latter Writings offer something beautiful: verses become prayers, chapters become treasures, and every reading becomes an encounter with the living God. • CONTINUE ON - We want to encourage those of you who are pursuing your own Bible reading plans to continue pursuing those plans at your pace! Please register below and plan to report each week as we hope to check in with you to hear about what you are learning each week.
