What is Alpha?
Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening setting over eight weekly sessions. It’s dinner, low-key conversation, and friendly fun.
What SHOULD I EXPECT?
It's a free dinner, low-key conversation, and friendly fun. The evening begins with dinner at 6:30p. After dinner there is a talk, followed by a table discussion time where you can ask questions and express your opinions about the topic.
FOOD
Enjoy a four-course meal including soup, salad, an entree, and dessert. Spend some time hanging out and getting to know everyone at your table.
TALK
The talk explores the important questions of life and is meant to provoke discussion. They are usually 45 minutes long with topics ranging from Who is Jesus? to Why and How Should I Read the Bible?
DISCUSSION
The discussion is our favorite part. During the discussion, a table leader will guide your table through questions written to help you dive deeper into the topic of the night. It is a safe place to share your perspective and explore what life means.
Something for the whole family
Bring your kids ages 2-11 to participate in a special program designed just for them! Each evening the kids will enjoy a pizza party, puppet show, crafts, and games!
