A TALE OF TWO KINGDOMS BIBLE READING PLANS
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times—and perhaps no period in Israel's history captures this paradox more powerfully than the era of the Prophets. From September 1st through October 17th, we invite you to journey chronologically through one of Scripture's darkest and most dramatic periods, when God's people experienced His sovereign judgment yet glimpsed hope in His most profound promise—the coming Messiah.

In The Babylonian Exile, we'll walk alongside Judah through judgment and into the darkness of captivity, reading through Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, and other prophets.
THE RETURN
In The Return, we'll celebrate the restoration that foreshadowed an even greater redemption to come, reading Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, the post-exilic prophets, and Book Five of the Psalms.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I get credit if I use an audio version?
Yes! Our App also has the capability of listening through audio. You can adjust the speed by clicking on the Bible tab, clicking play, then adjusting the speed. It will save your speed preference.
Will I be asked to report regularly?
Yes. Please plan to report in weekly through the "Report Your Reading" button.
Does it matter which Bible translation I use?
We'd recommend the ESV or another standard translation. This reading plan follows the ESV Chronological Bible available in the bookstore. Feel free to talk with one of the church leaders with any questions about the Bible translation you'd like to use.
What about devotionals?
While devotionals are helpful, we'd like to encourage you to spend at least 15 minutes devoted to reading the Bible.
What if I want to continue reading my current plan?
Please do! We'd still encourage you to register and report your reading.
